Apex is an independent consultancy working across England and Wales.

We support developers, landowners, local authorities and project teams through every stage of the development process, with integrated transport planning and engineering from early feasibility to delivery on site.

We were established in 2020 with a clear ambition: to deliver a thoughtful, high-quality service that helps projects succeed, without unnecessary complexity or delay. In 2026 we expanded with the launch of our engineering team, so clients now have transport planning and civil engineering expertise within one team.

Our work is grounded in strong technical expertise, sound professional judgement and a practical understanding of how planning decisions and technical approvals are made. Just as importantly, we pride ourselves on being approachable, collaborative and easy to work with.

We break down complex issues into clear, understandable advice, helping clients and project teams make informed decisions with confidence. Our assessments are robust and defensible, but always proportionate and pragmatic.

We adopt a vision-led approach to transport planning that prioritises walking, cycling and public transport, while ensuring proposals remain practical and deliverable. Our transport planners and engineers work as one team, testing every proposal for buildability and approval from the first sketch.
