Following submission, development proposals often require further transport or engineering input to respond to consultee comments, changes in scheme design or additional information requests during determination.

We provide post-application support to help progress schemes efficiently, including resolving consultee and authority queries, advising on revised proposals, securing technical approvals and supporting the discharge of planning conditions. Our involvement is focused on resolving issues constructively and supporting timely outcomes.

FEATURED PROJECT

Cardiff Sixth Form College, Cardiff Bay

Apex Transport Planning provided transport planning and highways support for the development of a new boarding accommodation hub and associated teaching facility for Cardiff Sixth Form College as part of a two-site campus in Cardiff Bay.

We prepared a Transport Statement and Travel Plan to support the planning application, with the Travel Plan, setting out practical measures to encourage sustainable travel by students, staff and visitors. We are now continuing to support the College with the implementation of the Travel Plan as the campus is constructed.

This includes the production of supporting promotional materials, surveys and transport-related policies.
